AI in UC4 looks monstrous to say the least. These nikkas holding onto your leg and shyt and this wasn't even a set piece, just a regular ole gameplay loop.

Those are pretty unseasonable expectations.

I don't know of any game that has put it all into one.

To use your example, uncharted last gen had great graphics and presentation, while the gunplay and A.I. were nothing special.

i think UC had a lot more going on than great graphics and presentation... that whole damn game was elite and couldn't ever be done on ps2.. and when people first played it, they were on some OH MY GOD

now that i think about it, driveclub is LIKE THAT... i mean it blows me away when i play it... and if someone said show me why i should buy a ps4, that'd be the game i'd show them

the witcher wasn't all that to me.. it was cool and all.. but i'm sick of these fallout, skyrim, witcher type games that don't ever focus on having elite fighting... shyt feels like i'm swiping at air and doing the same, roll, swipe, potion, moves for everybody in the game




you know what... give me mgs 5 graphics and gameplay, with the witchers world, and last of us AI... i'd be in fukking heaven

Agreed, it's not the only game, but it sure is far beyond anything available last gen in the graphics department. Gameplay not so much.

All games have a trade off. The games that focus on elite fighting don't have the graphics/presentation/story large open world, etc that the Witcher has.

The standards Yall are setting are unprecedented. Both budget and processing power are limited for any game. Yall asking for the perfect game that doesn't exist.

Because since the game isn't scripted, what you saw at E3 wasn't likely to happen for everyone since everyone plays differently.

yes you damn right i'm asking for a lot... it's the next gen

y'all can't tell me this gen's jump hasn't been the worst of all time... from ps3-360 - ps4/xbone has been minimal at best


and what's with this MGS AI bullshyt.... i beat that game with absolute ease... only thing it did, was see what ways you beat the last base and add the direct counter to the next base..

do a lot of night missions, they wear goggles.. etc etc.. there was even a damn symbol on the map that told you exactly how this was going to play out



when i say AI... i mean play the same level 5 times, and the enemies will attack you 5 different ways... they are going to flank you and not fire cause you have a hostage... or put their hands up cause you have a gun... but wait your gun clicked and you have no bullets... so now they will attack..

oh they found a body... they are not going on a timed alert until "oops he got away"... no they are going on a "lets find and kill this nikka" until you are dead... systematically checking the entire room by room



i'm not sure you really played last of us breh

that's why i laugh at these dudes saying we asking for too much

everybody in the damn world's main complaint about MGS (besides the story) was the fact it was so damn repetitive. you do the same shyt over and over and over again... and the enemies get new tools, but never any smarter.... put to sleep, fulton, find guy, fulton, dive in bushes during alert, fulton, put to sleep, fulton, do too much and have to kill some people, be mad, wait for alert to go down, put to sleep the rest, fulton, base cleared, extract


that's literally every mission



like i said, i'll take the graphics and the gameplay and move the rest of that shyt to the side
