There have been a lot of whispers that Eric Bieniamy won't land a HC job again this year

Just gotta make some stuff clear. Houston waited to interview Bieniemy once they got a GM. What sense would it make for a team to interview a coach without a GM in place? They only traded away 2 1st round picks. 2020 and 2021 to get their franchise left tackle. They have all of their 1st round picks for the future.

EB was not first on his list. They first wanted to interview the guy from the bills and someone from the titans I think.

If I’m wrong cool. Maybe I haven’t read on it or seen the article but I’ve been doing my best to keep up with EB news. Which is why I say post a link.

These are the only guys Caserio interviewed. Daboll and Smith never even interviewed with Houston.

I won't be surprised if the NFL pressures Houston to signing him

Not that they care too much but they'd have a huge PR problem on their hand if the Texans hire a white coach. I know Saleh is a minority but that would still be another coaching carousel where not one black guy was hired.

Oh I can see them hire a black coach then trade the star QB (watson) and give the black head coach a Trash recycle bin QB to work with. Its the same old shyt with this league.

Breh, you know with that history of his, he wasn't getting the job in Detroit. Not everyone is Andy Reid and takes in people who have pasts that people won't touch like Eric Bieniemy, Michael Vick or a Terrell Owens. Just because Andy Reid did doesn't means others will just look past that. Anybody that goes for an upper echelon position is going to have their past picked through, up and down, he is the head coach, the one that speaks after wins and losses. I know Matt Patricia had some shyt on his record too but not as much as Bieniemy and Dan Quinn probably had too much sway in that time anyways. Just saying it again. Those charges are going to hang around him like a stank ass wet fart. Some people may ultimately be OK with the smell but most will not.

Goddell is gonna put heat on the Texans to hire Bienemy. Because if they hire a white coach, they are losing Watson for sure and it will be a PR nightmare for the NFL.

As A Texans fans this is what I’m hoping for. EB as head coach and Frazier as DC but it’ll be a lateral move for him to leave one DC job for another. One can hope though.
