I would say lyrical/lyricism is anyone who could put together ideas and concepts in the best simple way so that the reader/listener can understand what he is trying to say or express

Ex: pac, face, cube

Complex lyricism i would define as lyrics that include lots of elements such as word play, similies, changing patterns in the rhymes schemes, etc

Ex: lupe, eminem, etc
