You forget the early days of the 90. We were always told the outlook for us would be bleak. We would be the first generation in a America to have less (wealth wise) than our parents.
In the early 90's there was a lot of corporate downsizing, we already had de-industrialization. The Boomers got the benefits of government policies (they got the last of the New Deal essentially), cheap college, housing etc.
We got "the Era of Big Government is over!" Neo Liberal Democrats etc.
We did have a war. Many of us were entering our prime years around 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq.
Gen X basically said fukk this shyt. The whole system is bullshyt and it's better to try to enjoy your life and find some meaning instead of grinding away in a system that doesn't give a damn about you.
All im gonna say is we can still fix this.. But we refuse to trust and work with one another..

a lot of my younger female cousins also aren’t fukking with Brehs. They date out. It’s strange because growing up I remember seeing Brehs smut out white girls regularly but brehettes weren’t dating/sexing nonblack guys like that. But with gen z it’s like both groups are dating out in high numbers.
I honestly think it’s the result of more and more black parents moving their kids to white areas for better education and the only black experience some of these kids get is through social media where they’re consuming a lot of this rhetoric. Also the media… bw are “in” but it’s the Meg the stallion and Chloe Bailey sexy types that are oversexualized. On top of that all those IR commercials and IR promotion in media.
Hell even in porn. Those 2021 pornhub results showed that a lot of people, outside of just brehettes and Brehs, are apparently taking interest in watching bw fukk. like I said the oversexualized images in media are probably contributing. But I think a lot of gen z just think whites and others are better. All I know is that I don’t have high hopes for gen z. Even with my own son. He’s little c00n himself smh lol.
Anyway it’s not something I’m concerned with anymore. I’m just letting cards fall where they may. I don't think this is the reason. I grew up in a white neighbourhood and still desired black women from young. I remember being in school and when you moved onto the next grade the would post your name of who was in your class. I was always hoping to see a black girls name on the list.

I think this is what a completely integrated nation looks like. I’ve said before that my son’s father used to live in North Dakota in this small town where there was pretty much an even distribution racially (which was weird in itself after all because it’s North Dakota). All I saw were interracial couples. Bw and wm. And bm and ww. Both groups were equal in IR ratio. I didn’t see hardly any black on black couples. Funny thing is I did see white on white couples. Some of the whites in these IR with blacks looked like racist trumpers. It was weird as fukk.
I was mortified at the number of cowboy white boys trying to get with me.. it was a different world—but I recognized that it’s what happens when a place is fully integrated, with everyone pretending that race is no longer a big deal. This is what I think of gen z. It’s just where they’re at—they don’t care about keeping it in the race like that.
They didn't do right either. The fight for Civil Rights was right and exact no one told rich and educated Black people that they had to flee en masse to the white community. That was the biggest problem. Even if Black women became single mothers at the same rate if the Black Doctor lived in the same community as the Black Barbershop owner no one could say There are no Black Male role models
