If you was making a troll thread, we'd understand that. This is totally different. This is a SUPER REACH. You guys just don't get it, Kinect is mandatory. You can't use the Xbox One w/out it. Because the entire system uses your voice. Why are you guys going so hard to knock something you haven't tried?
They made the damn thing, if it didn't work great they wouldn't be stubborn about it. I have Kinect and already see how wonderful it works. If it worked better?
Now that it does, and everything will work with it from a system level? I'm telling you it will be the difference this gen. Its why Xbox One will win easily.

But a controller is limited. PC gamers like there Keyboard and with the more keys means they can do more things.
Ditto with Kinect and your voice. So from the dash you can move over to say your settings like you do now. Or you can simply say "Xbox, settings" and your instantly at your settings.
Then stuff you probably can't do with your controller like maybe your mid game and a friend calls you via skype. You can keep playing and with your voice say "Xbox, snap call" and w/out losing your concentration you are now gaming and chatting. Or you can be gaming and online your friend says "Yo, the game is on" You can with your voice say "Xbox, snap ESPN" and now the game is on side of the screen while you continue your gaming bliss
This is just the tip of the iceberg, but don't act like what I just said isn't already enough. If its a negative, say that. Then we'll all have a good hearty laugh

They could have put a mic in the controller so they wouldn't have a console that doesn't work without a camera connected to it at all times.
