It's not entertaining to you because you don't fully appreciate basketball as yet. The footwork is elite. He's going to be in MVP conversations till his mid 30s because of his fundamentals.

Sorry breh I speak about basketball specifically from a skill for skill standpoint and can't watch the game without breaking it down to the little nusicances. He is skilled and talented, ice said that 10 times already, his game is just not pretty to watch abd not a game that will put people in seats.

I agree. I'd watch Kyrie over him every night but I'd never pick Kyrie over him to be the best player on my team.

I like the highlights too but I am surprised because some of these Gen Z players are bringing back the 80's and 90's mentality and high IQ basketball back.

I agree. I always said Kyrie is no superstar or leader. He has the beauty, but his game does not translate to wins. Shai's game does, it's just an ugly game and people will not tune in to watch a nikka like that compared to players like Wade and Rose, who everybody wanted to watch at their peaks.

Kyrie is the best number 2 in the league.
He translates to wins when he is allowed to play his game which is focus on scoring.
He needs a main guy beside him like prime Lebron or Tatum to play both sides but very dependable player in all clutch situations and the playoffs

Any player leading (or within the top 3-5) the league in FTA, y'all say, is a “merchant.” Even without the free throws, it's already been proven that SGA is an elite scorer, so statically, the difference between his made FGA and FTA is very minimal that the idea most of his numbers come from the line has been debunked.

To be fair, Jokic been putting up legendary stat lines more consistently than everyone else. If SGA didn't have that run where he dropped 50 multiple times he might not have as good an argument this year, you gotta have multiple crazy performances to keep up with him and you gotta do it all season
