So why are we mad at young ppl in their teens/20s who have been influenced by the men before them?

What’s the difference between calling someone a YN today and a nikka 10yrs ago?

This is what they grew up watching brehs say :manny:
Of course
It's forced they played simp out, they played, Unc, and Auntie out, and they about to do the same with YN. It's a difference between creating slang and forcing it. Also that he ain't no damn young person.

Breh, who decided to use it in music and popularize it?

NWA: nikkas with attitude ?!

Black men have been performing on stages for DECADES with white fans yelling “nikka” at the top of their lungs

You want to know why Gen Z creating new terms like “YN”?
What’s the big deal??

They grew up seeing the adults around them listening to “Nikkas in Paris” and seeing all the white kids at concerts use the term with no pushback.

YN just came from that tik tok censorship shyt (same way people say “unalive” and “pdf file”

YN is supposed to be a term used to describe the wild crashout kids

But just like the word crash out, they let it become a mainstream word so now it’s used in every scenario

It’s really interesting how much power black people have over cultural influence, nikkas could def make positive things like life skills, etc look cool but it be other bullshyt

To be fair, hiphop definitely make it global but plenty of white people where watching Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor Black Exploitation Movies ect long B4 hiphop and the comedians literally turned it into a joke.

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
It's the logical conclusion to this shyt :yeshrug:

Damn near every other group admonishes their slurs and has zero tolerance for it :yeshrug:

You don't see jews use k1kė as a term of endearment

You rarely ever see gays say "I'm that phaggot" or "whats up my phaggot"
This isn't true. LGBT uses that word a lot.

who's doing the programming? :comeon::comeon::comeon:

before it got to espn who was doing the programming?

y'all mans got a conspiracy for everything.
I mean how we program ourselves to use words and language for good or ill.

Think about your friend group and someone starts saying something, repeating it, u pick cues and start using it yourself

The poster who I was replying to said how he hates when young ppl use words as much as possible, trying to pigeon hole into everything but I think that's how new slang and language works This is one that needs to die on the vine
