Let's say booth rent is 1200/month. If a barber making $500 daily, that rent is covered in a little over 2 days

Breh you saying 30 minutes a head. I've never in my life had a hair cut that was 30 mins, like y'all want these dudes working like slaves. That's literal insanity. It's at least one hour minimum for a good haircut. If you larry holmes your cuts will probably be 30 mins

$35 + tip at 9 people for 9 hours is $315. And that's pre tax. You're talking a week's worth of work to cover $1200 rent.

Barbers should never be crying about being broke if they make $500+ a day on average. Barbers That needlessly raise their prices over the "inflation" excuse have bad money management, where they passing it down on their clients. 100% and above price raises is not "inflation" its price gouging.

I'm headed to a wedding gonna be alot of photos taken, cool i'll hit up a barber. them prices aren't for weekly or biweekly cuts anymore.

When charing $50 a head, they can easily cut hair for 10 to 12 people in any given day. Fridays and Saturdays they can make a legit $800 per day including tips.

Cutting hair is an art.

We like to think it's that simple to cut hair and shape up our hairlines and such but it's not, it's takes skill, precision, etc barbers lives aren't easy.

You can cut your hair at home but it's not gonna come out the same way as a professional barber and it's for the reasons I started.

How do you address the prices on rent they have to pay which are probably driving the cost increases.
