Average cuts are $35-40 around here.
My brother's barber charges $50 + tip, and while he's nice with the clippers, I've got a girl and don't go out as much - so I go with my more reliably open (and more reasonable) barber

Nobody needs a full haircut every week. I'm operating from the other end of the spectrum but we really don't need to see your barber for anything every single week either.You sir , were a prophet
I've noticed 45 is the norm in major cities. We are almost there.
Maybe this economy will stomp out this obsession with magazine hairlines.

$40 for a cut. $15 for the lineup; including beard. I give a $5 tip. 2 years ago I said I’d never pay 40 for a cut, but here we are 
I’m paying 75 after the tip. I stopped going weekly. Now it’s 2-3 times a month

Yea, I had to cut out that going every week. I just can’t justify $125/$130 every month for my hair. Can’t do it.

I just moved back to KC and my barber cuts a lot of pro athletes hair. I'm paying $60 (which I can understand). It's the bum ass nikka down the road who just graduated barber school who's renting a booth on the janky ass side of town who's charging $60 that I got a problem with. I know it's bigger fish for politicians but I wouldn't be upset if they regulated this shyt.
It's been normalized by us due to obsession with hairlines and overemphasis on "looking good" but nobody's hair grows fast enough to get a full haircut every week.

I go to a spot in Raytown that still charges 35..if it gets to 60 there dawg I’d be sick.

Nowadays, I couldn’t imagine driving to Raytown. Back in the day, I was making that drive 2-3x a week cause I was smashing a couple broads that way. And I was driving from N. KC/Platte county at that! Now…? I got mad at myself for driving to the Legends yesterday to go to NFM. I can’t see myself driving past OP/maybe Prairie Village. I’m too old to be driving all the time lol
