Makes a good point here. MMA fighters get to watch their opponents on film and watch themselves on film and critique and study to prepare.

In the streets you dont' have any foreknowledge

forearms and elbows can break fists.

yeah except the chances of running into somebody with master wong's knowledge also seems pretty slim..

Even without that. Alot of cats on here talking about the whole BJJ thing. Nothing wrong with that and ti's good to know as a tool, BUT that's for certain scenarios. If things are going fast and you don't know whats going on, wrestling on the ground is dangerous and limits your vision.

You are either trained or untrained. The majority of mma fighters started out fighting in the streets since childhood in poverty, know how to fight dirty and use weapons also, so these untrained dumbasses acting like they have some sort of edge as far as the unpredictable sound fukking stupid and just wanna make it seem like they know some shyt :mjlol: Both parties face the unexpected, but a trained and/or physically fit person wilk always have the advantage over those who are not. End of story. Oh and btw, Wing Chun, if itd legit and not mcdojo, is actually one of the most effective martial arts to use in street fights. Quick simple straight punches down the pipe, elbows and joint locks to your disposal. Less is more when it comes to fighting for your life. In street fights I use mostly one/twos as far as punches, kicks no higher than the ribs and knees, headbutts, elbows, short hooks and uppercuts up close

I'll never forget when I was younger, this guy always said that an athlete or a physically fit person(Strong and in shape) will always have the advantage over another untrained fighter.

No dude I know trains BJJ only but shyt is a godsend on the streets, especially as a skinny dude.

But most trained guys will tell you that BJJ's most useful technique in a street fight is the ability to properly sprawl and stay on your feet.
