How can you say Hondurans are the Blackest Latinos while saying most Ricans aren't Black makes no sense.

While there are many Afro-Hondurans(met a chick who was) they compose of a tiny minority both demographically and genetically. Puerto Rico has a much bigger African genetic influence than Honduras ever will. By nationality Dominicans are the "Blackest" Hispanics.
I'm talking about NYC with kingofnyc...

In NYC in my experience the Hondurans are black and retain a high amount of African ancestry with less mixture while Puerto Ricans by majority are more European. In the hoods of NYC there are more Garifuna and Afro-Hondurans than mestizo Hondurans. I never said there aren't black Puerto Ricans I gave examples of black Puerto Ricans. To say the average Rican has a significant amount of African ancestry is exaggerated.

Oh my bad. Even so Nuyuricans are still a bit neck and neck with Hondurans. The majority of Hondurans I've seen in my county in southern NY have been mestizos. Just saying. And Ricans do have significant African ancestry and much more than Hondurans on average. 26% is significant.

homie with all due respect

you have it completely wrong .... the term black is only used by us African-Americans, the term black outside of the US is almost never used so it’s hypocritical for you or anybody for that matter to critique Latinos for identifying themselves through their nationality or ethnicity and if you want the proof you can look no further than the motherland if you ask any person from Nigeria to identify themselves they’re gonna say they’re Nigerian if you ask any person from Somalia to identify themselves they’re gonna say their Somalian if you ask anybody from Kenya they gonna say they’re Kenyan - truth is everybody in the world excluding us identifies themselves either through their nation or ethnic group that come from, race is almost never brought up
I've always said this. Blackness was birthed in the U.S.

Africans/Foreign Blacks usually identify with where they come from.

Yeah, Dominicans are the most black and largest in numbers. What I meant was the Panamanians and Hondurans are more quick to identify with blackness and many have West Indian roots. Dominicans are rising now in racial consciousness with many of them owning their blackness, assimilating into America, and spreading awareness on their plight but on average they are more mixed than the black Panamananians and Hondurans that live in NYC I don't know how familiar you are with these communities in NYC.

Nah OF COURSE and met many Black Panamanians and Hondurans who were PROUD of their Blackness. :ehh: This Afro-Honduran women repped her African ancestry hard and was all happy because she found out I been to Africa. Another Black Panamanian chick I use to mess with always claimed her Blackness.

When it comes to Dominicans in NYC.... Brooklyn Dominicans seem to be the most woke from my experience. I can't even hate. But yea even the mulatto Panamanians and Hondurans will claim their Blackness.

Duh.... Illegal Mexicans being allowed to cross the border is an 100% anti black policy by the democrats....

Latinos would slaughter blacks if given the opportunity...

GO AND WATCH ANY INTERVIEW WITH ANYONE WHO IS A PRO ILLEGAL MEXICAN IMMIGRANT LATINO AND TELL THEM HOW IT NEGATIVEY AFFECTS BLACKS. WATCH THEM SAY SOME SLICK shyt.

ALSO “BLACK PEOPLE” are actually brown....

Perhaps they meant in terms of appearance..Black Colombians you cannot think twice if theyre Black, whereas Ricans are very mixed looking.

Well they can't have it both ways. Can't use tha n word more than tha muthafukkas who it applies to then freeze up when it's time to identify as an n word.
Like paul mooney said everybody wanna be a nikka but nobody wanna be a nikka.

giphy.gif

as long as you keep that same energy with people from East Africa cause Somalians, Ethiopians, Eritreans, Sudanese etc. use the N-word like a muthfukker as well and a large amount of those individuals do not claim to be black
