So today in class we were discussing a study about job discrimination and how the white male with a criminal record is more likely to get a job than a black man without a record.

People said that racism was still prevalent in America and of course some kid brought of Ferguson.

This pale, smug, twig of a cac muttered "fukk that shyt, that's stupid". I looked over at him and he gave me one of those Edward Furlong smirks from American History X. And I'm like Okay, maybe I interpreted that wrong or some shyt. But He just looked like the type to me. He's one of those elitist wannabe cacs too.

Then he was talking about how there was a white 9 year old with an airsoft gun that got gunned down but nobody talks about that.

Its literally the second week and I'm sensing things from this kid and I might get heated over some shyt because racism is going to be talked about often in the class. And if he says some slick shyt i might catch a body in that bytch

Confront him. Pretty simple ask his opinion that will give him away.

He prolly clings to the fact he's a cac to raise his self esteem or shyt. If he says something racist try to show him he's wrong if he doesn't listen then fight him.

Am I the only one who understands that people and their ideology dont necessarily change? Am I the only one who has taken a sociology class and ignore the obvious ignorance? Having taken this class in a community college setting, maybe my perspective isnt the norm.

Just start a healthy debate with him...see how far he takes it. Even let him give you examples of what he is talking about so you can figure out where he is his information, (Generational vs Fox "News). Cacs in general love to speak their mind. Let them do it. They tend to expose themselves when they get too comfortable.

I'd hate to give him advice that would lead to a physical confrontation like that, but I hear you. Once this kids finds out he has a complaint filed against him the battery in his back will be larger than ever.

It will get physical, sometimes that stuff is unavoidable, but sometimes it isn't. not saying transfer because you're right. I just know I've been there before and its no fun walking into class KNOWING me and this cac will almost come to throwing blows for the 10th time this semester.

At least he has some black classmates, it would be way worse if he was by himself
