2. Everything built from the ground up on said console
3. More cross play with PC
4. No stupid marketing deals or exclusive bs
5. Halo was going to happen with or without Microsoft
6. Microsoft needs to throw in the towel sohh all console games can run natively on PlayStation again just like in the PS1/PS2 days
7. We didn't have shytty ports back in the day when it was just Sony and Nintendo

nikka please quite the opposite when it comes to consoles, publishers would not get away with charging $60 for games, they would be competing more then they are now for our dollar. Games would drop down to bluray movie type prices. Case in point, new PS2 games were retailing for 39.99 a year or two before PS3 even came out. The reason is there were sohh many games on it they needed to lower the prices to stay competitive. Simple economics

1. What do shytty ports have to do with there being two consoles? What shytty ports are you even talking about?

What happens when this one company begins charging you 100 dollars to use their online service? 150?

What happens when they charge an absurd amount of money for consoles and start releasing "updated" versions after 3 years.

What happens when console software stops getting updated because why do it when it doesn't matter it's the only thing you can play anyways.

If you want to have one console so you can be nickel and dimed with no alternatives because you hate another console so much though I'll let you cook

Yeah we need one console that will have bs like kinect and paying to use netflix as standard that will push out endless stability updates with no real content while awaiting greatness and use weak hardware to alienate third parties and rely on mario for sales

That's not to mention how much the console games and mandatory accessories will cost with no competition
