I don't know about the contention in first post, but I have been reading 'Capital', on economic inequality and ranting to friends, I think it's appalling that people are sitting on dozens and hundreds of millions of dollars, when people are starving in the street and homeless kids and families wander the streets, or some go on long term unemployment and lose their homes, their kids colleges tuition's…that shyt disgusts me, it doesn't hurt me to help people I care about, or hand a homeless man $5, or the women who sell roses in downtown san diego to the clubgoers….it wouldn't hurt the wealthy elite, to give MUCH more of their fortunes away...

see that's what i been saying... there's much more easier ways to do this

a law that says you can only pass down $10 million total in your will... or whatever number they come up with... so every generation gets funded to help out the poor... circle of life... rich people die and poor people get the money funneled to them

another thing is this money thing... you gonna give people money, with no financial training, life skills, parenting skills, or education to teach them how to manage and grow their money

Right, I like that idea….I mean, if I i'd millions i'd set up my family, if I had one, but I mean, if I give them 3 million or so, or even 5-10, I am already setting them up to be ahead of such a vast majority of the world and population, do i really need to leave 100 million to my fukking kids? It's hard to say, but by default we can assume the janitor is worse off. And that's unfortunate but he doesn't have skills that 99.9 percent of society can't Match and he's not the reason his organization generates hundreds of millions per year.

Basketball makes billions, players should make millions. I never understood people that complain about what players earn as if the feel like ownership should get an even bigger portion of the pie. Just because their playing a sport doesn't mean it's not business.
