"Life" (as we know it) has existed on earth around 3 billion years.. Humans have existed on earth around 100k years give or take and computerized technology has only been around 100 years... do the fractions on that in regards to the evolution of "life"... Now tell me the mathematical probability that there's life (as we know it) out there that are in the exact same stage in evolution that we are at this very moment... Aliens breathing methane gas in 1500mph winds, below 200 degrees Celsius, ordering take out, watching porn, going to the gym, scrolling Facebook, looking up at the sky thinking about one day making contact with us... The mathematical probility


Lets go a step further for the sake of this ridiculous belief in aliens... lets say their technology is a million years further than ours, they dont even have to "communicate" and the probability that theyre still using radio wave signals in hopes that inferior life forms will pick it up from a million light years away



Again, its like us discovering a planet of squirrels and deciding to drop a truck load of microwaves on them thinking they'll understand and use the advance technology.
