Anyone remember out touring in Europe dedicating Ether to George Bush on the eve of the Iraq war. Coming out with the I Can military jacket and American Dream T. Pop and locking to Apache before going into Made You Look

This was a wild time to be alive+ a fan of hip-hop. As I was coming of age hip-hop was entering a sick ass run from 2001-2005.

I'll never look at any time period the way this one resonates. The Nas/Hova beef or the Jadakiss/Beanie Sigel beefs are huge hip-hop moments that stand out. If you're coming up on hip-hop now, it's just different.
