pretty soon amongst many poor black and brown nations there will be widespread civil unrest. Droughts and famines will cause these societies to uttlery collapse. Millions of people will die and be displaced. This will have huge ramifications in the West. And it will be an ominous sign of what's to come for those of us in more affluent countries.
I am not one of those types that says load up on ammo, canned food etc. Do all that if you want. I am just suggesting that you guys prepare yourself mentally, spiritually and emotionally. We are going to see some very dramatic and traumatic events take place in the 2020's. Mark my words.

I have a small glimmer of hope that the worlds poor and disadvantage will dethrone the elites and salvage what civilization we have left.

Amen to that. At a time when we should be coming together collectively on a global scale to address some of the existential threats issues we face as species we are bunkering down into nationalism.
And the coming global refugee crisis will only make nationalism more extreme.. I wouldn't be surprised if some ultra nationalist and fascist regimes sprout up around various parts of the globe.

I've been thinking the same now that Amerikkka is great again, fascism, global warming effects of the last few years only getting worst, Amazon fires, species going extinct, terrorism and so many countries in turmoil around the globe. The very system that they created will inevitably destroy us all. I would like to say that everything will collapse and we can start all over again. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to go down like that. The poor countries who contributed the least to all of the problems we face are going to bear the brunt. What is taking shape is basically climate induced genocide against black and brown people. And we are sleep walking into a catastrophe.

I believe it. I think San Francisco is a microcosm of what all of America will be like soon with the growing wealth gap. Average 1 bedroom rent of $3500, average home price like $1.3 million. You're either poor or rich, not much in between.

I think as a result of a harder to ignore wealth gap, we will see a major swing to Bernie Sanders type of leftists. Well, we're already seeing that now to an extent, but I think it will be more pronounced as reality sets in that it's gotten too hard for the common man to prosper and the American Dream is dead.

Billionaires have started talking about it too, they're afraid the masses will start coming for their neck very soon as people wake up to how rigged the game is for the rich. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some UBI implemented to calm down the masses, but it will be a little crumb amount of like $500/month, not enough to live on.

I feel that shift is coming in where the politicians and elites will be turn on but all that will do is have them replace by technocrats. Who are basically gonna form and authoritarian by using the reliability of technology in predicting and correcting social issues that politicians have failed in fixing.


So again democracies will but will be replaced by a system similar to Singapore and china level type surveillance. The technocrats will guranatee results because what they do is "scientific" but people will trade in freedom for convenience.

That is what Agenda 21 is essentially technocrats fixing "sustainability" issues with technology and socialism
