Same where I am. Kmart been closed for probably 7 years now and the building is STILL empty.

I dunno where you live, I'm from Kansas City, Missouri and there is buildings that have been empty literally 30 years....still there.
It makes the middle of the city look like a fukking train wreck.

Most of those big ass buildings from back in the day are never going to be filled. Businesses (and by extension, the public) have moved on to smaller, more practical spaces.
