Stuff like not letting the women know exactly what's going to be happening in a scene, promising a higher pay than they end up giving out, etc. Then we're also talking about an industry filled with drug abuse so there's that. I'm saying that these are people who already take every possible measure to minimize costs, it's realistic to think that some people are abusing their positions. There's the story of that girl who did a scene for one of these sites, facial abuse or whatever. She mentions how the contract had a clause that the girl can't come to the company in case she suffers physical or psychological damage as a result of their actions. Standard but they take that shyt and run with it, really take advantage of it.
No other industry gets as much defense as porn in these regards. If you're injured on the job, you expect there to be some sort of action on the part of the employer, right? You expect your employer to hold on to their word, to do as they promise, right? But people who perform in porn aren't permanent employees, they're hired on a scene-by-scene basis. So there's no union, there's nothing to protect them from manipulative practices, no regulation. The women are not the problem, the people making the shyt are the problem. They have the power and the means of distribution, they're the ones making all the money. It's simple shyt.
