i think that the stripper rap argument shows what's wrong with this generation today.
as much as jermaine dupree wants to act like he didn't have a hand in it, he needs to keep in mind that the same young rappers he's criticizing, they were watching videos like "welcome to atlanta" with him and ludacris. they had the models all twerking and looking pretty. cardi b, megan the stallion and all these wack female rappers basically grew up listening and watching all these artists that were popular in the last decade and all the shallow content they dropped.

that was what was hot in the streets. now these older rappers are acting all shocked that the younger generation that were watching them are putting out the same shallow content they put out back in the day and are even personifying it. you reap what you sow.
