There’s a huge difference between millenials born in the 1980s and millenials born in the 1990s.

Humans have an amazing talent to divide and rank themselves over literally anything when at the end of the day we're all the same shytty species living the same sh1tty lives.

As if good, cool people and degenerates don't exist in every generation that's ever walked on this planet.

100% right

I grew up with older siblings so I understand. Oldest sibling was born in 1983 then 1986, 1990, 1992 (which is me) and youngest is born in 2000

Even as someone born in 1992, I could relate more to the sibling born in 2000 and there's still an 8 year age difference between us. I consider myself 80% Millenial and 20% Gen Z idk how to put it but in some ways I do feel like I'm both.

i think social media and the internet is the dividing line

my brother was born in 1984 and never had social media in high school while I had Myspace and AOL instant messenger. Using the internet heavier makes it easier to relate to Gen Z's.

Ciara is only 4 years older than me but she feels like a Gen Xer to me for some reason.
If he was born in 74 you would have a point but AOL was already up and running by 97

Social media, cell phones etc

Im an 80s baby, flip phones wasnt even that accessible til i was a junior/senior in high school. We grew up at that point 15-16 years before we even had real access to them.

Iphone didnt even come out til i was in my 20s :flabbynsick: where as a 90s kid, they had smartphones by the time we still had to knock on peoples door to even see if they were home..

The gap between 80s and late 90s/early 2000s even worse. I turn 35 in a few weeks, meeting someone out and about age 21-25 and seeing their views on life, its almost completely the opposite of how life was growing up for me

Millennials born in the 80s got punched in the face by the recession the way Gen X did. Millennials in the 90s had time to dodge it. I think how the recession impacted your age group is more of a generational marker than anything.

Our kids movies had smoking drinking and gun violence in them. We aren’t close to being the same :pachaha:

I was watching Fieval goes west with my two young daughters and all kinds of fuccery was afoot, fievel had 2 pistolas mercing nikkas in the first 3 minutes of the movie :dead:

There was a pimp cat in charge of everything running hoes and smoking Loud and in charge of a saloon with drunk cats all up in it :deadrose:

Both me and my wife looked at each other not remembering any of this shyt going down as 6 year olds watching this in theaters in 1991 :skip:

Born in 83’. Most of us grew up thinking we were Gen X. We didn’t find out we were millennials until about 08-10’ when Boomers started accusing us of not bootstrapping hard enough in the greatest economic downturn since the 30’s and how we were all dumb for not getting degrees in underwater hyperthermal nuclear sexmagic wifi science when they can’t attach a photo to an email message on their smartphone. :unimpressed:90’s millennials will always be weird. Anybody who thinks Lil Wayne is GOAT and thinks snapbacks came out in the early 2010’s is a weirdo.

The biggest difference is you had more black teachers in the 80s and 90s. Especially if you lived in a nice sized city. In the 00s white teachers started infiltrating the schools where the students were predominantly black.
too many female teachers and not enough black male teachers out here our kids need both bw teachers and bm teachers
