I'm biracial and I'm only close with my black family. Its weird as fuk cause I identify as black because it's all I know but everyone thinks I'm Puerto Rican. I grew up saying nikka we all did. All my cousins, my aunts, shyt my 2 older brothers are fully black. Theres really no way in the world that you can convince me that I can't say it. I can decide not to but that's it. I try not to for the same reasons that older black men try not to.

I'm not black, and of course my opinion don't mean shyt but for what it's worth, I think allowing that word to be put out there through music and culture etc is very detrimental to black folks

Like of course, how yall use it among yourselves is your own prerogative and has its own meaning, but through hip hop culture, the whole world is able to view your private discourse and conversations publicly
