They did: YouTube will no longer be deleting videos from inactive accounts <--- link from may 18 2023.

I will add there has been alot of talk recently of the whole dead internet theory and such, this does kinda fit in that arena so lets see how it plays out in future, with ai its gonna get crazy..

I thought they said this originally but they updated that youtube accounts would be excluded from that?
