how often does a random person with a gun save his life, his families life because he/she has a gun vs how many times do they end up shooting themselves on purpose(suicide) or accident, or some kid shooting themselves(on purpose) or on accident? how many times do people use the gun they have to fend off criminals?

you do realize a lot of so called tough guys in the street that have guns are afraid to pull them out and if they pull them they are afraid to use them. so if some dudes in the street are that scared of pulling the trigger. how many non street people are just as afraid or more so?
