1996- Australia bans guns after the Port Arthur massacre. In the following years 30 million people are then rounded up and killed.
In this case correlation is 100% not equal to causation.

There are a lot more factors than "gun control" in each of these genocides.
Not only that, none of these countries had heavily armed populations to begin with.
There's the genocidal dictatorship factor that's pretty important in this whole thing (if you are really trying to put more stock in "gun control," which is a vague term that means absolutely nothing in this instance, especially in comparison to the US, than in the leadership of Pol Pot, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Talaat and Ahmed Pasha, and Mao Zedong, you're absolutely delusional.
I'm also shocked that you are posting a chain email that's almost a decade old, as if it's some kind of fact. There are a whole host of other issues, so I'll keep this neg on hold.
Over the past 30 years, concealed carry has helped lower crime and murder rates, and there are decades worth of data showing that.
