for the record i am not a black republican

i'm sick of black people acting like other blacks are sellouts cause they're black republicans. if you got money and the republicans are doing shyt to benefit you why wouldn't you ride with them?

those black republicans are republicans for the same reason the lower and middle income blacks are democrats.

lets also be honest that black democrats are mostly just taken for granted by the democratic party and otherwise ignored. they're glad to have your black vote but other than that you're irrelevant to them unless somebody is trying to disenfranchise you from voting for them.

lastly whats with black people acting like there's some type of bro code that says if you're black you gotta support Obama? when did black people develop this since of unity that's apparently lacking everywhere else damn near? same people acting like you own Obama a vote don't give a fukk about supporting black businesses and such.

I could understand supporting republicans if you are wealthy, or very religious. But as a black person you shouldn't be able to turn a blind eye to the racism embraced by the republican party. There is no bro code that you should vote for Obama, but given the alternative you are turning your back on your people If you do not support him.

^^There are far many more principles associated with being a Republican than the cliche of being rich or super religious. I'm neither of the two, but I tend to agree more with their perspective on things and usually vote based on those specifics. As for racism, I don't condone it from either party.

i agree but i thinks its because we been taught that way

people assume republicans only support the wealthy when i believe they support those who support themselves

thats why i try to look at both sides

democrats seem to like it when people are begging for welfare and benefits which makes people lazy

republicans get a bad rep because they are already wealthy so it seems like they being selfish when really

they just protecting they money

black people unite almost unanimously to support the enemy of the republican party. what is getting considered racism is likely just party politics. in the arena of politics its not about right and wrong its about what side you're on and what side they're on and what's in your best interest vs what's in the other side's best interest.

if tomorrow all blacks shifted to the republican party i bet they'd treat blacks more like democrats do now and democrats would shift in their attitude towards blacks as well.

They see me trolling, they hating.....
If u identify urself as anything other than a black person who will vote for whichever candidate that best meets ur interest then ur a house nikka bro.

Why can't u just be a black voter? why u gotta be a black republican/democrat etc? Citizens who aren't running for public office shouldn't have to label themselves anything

Problem is, all those principles they claim to run on, they actually don't do. They claim to be for fiscal responsibilty and small government but history shows they spend just as much if not more than democrats, and they advocate the government controlling big parts of your life. Under bush government grew and spending went up. They say they are against entitlements and government handouts but they give away more money than democrats. The only people
Who benefit from republican rule are the wealthy and the religious. I agree with some of the stuff they say on tv as well but if you take a closer look they are really not about that life.

As for the racism it is very real and it is embraced by the republican party, if you can turn a blind eye to that and still cast your vote for them, then you are supporting it.

Maybe true, but as of right now they gain allot of votes by pandering to the racist hateful old white man demographic. Plus their polocies don't benefit the lower or middle class which is where most black people fall under. I have no problem with people voting according to what suits them best, it's just at this time not very many black people can say a republican vote is in their best intrest.

The online says whatever but the only reason why some blacks become conservative is because the feel the line to glory is shorter on the right.

Also when it comes to explaining the success of a black liberal that has never been on welfare or a "victim", no answer.

stopped reading here.... everything after is irrelevant.
so if a white person says they aren't black but support civil rights that's irrelevant?
if a man who isn't a woman supports a woman's right to choose that's irrelevant?

i'm not a black republican but i can see why a black would be one.

Most black people couldn't even describe to you what a sellout is.
