i'm not a republican, just explaining the viewpoint from my perspective.

I know, just explaining some things not very many people republican or democrat have realized.

i agree, but conservatives have convinced the masses that social spending is where all their money is going, and not military spending. plus, republicans are usually more inclined to cut social welfare and provide tax cuts to the wealthy.

This here lies my problem with the repubs.

As a young black man myself who likes to learn from others opinions I sincerely would like to know what it is that draws you to the republican party. I'm not looking to debate or disagree with your views, I'm looking for enlightenment maybe there is something I'm missing.

There's really too much for me to go over and it would simply invite certain posters who are simply begging and frothing at the jowels to create arguments that will go nowhere. Let's just say that I'd prefer Milton Friedman or Thomas Sowell to someone like Alan Krueger or Larry Summers. Or better yet, maybe someone like Larry Elder to Al Sharpton.

i'm sick of black people acting like other blacks are sellouts cause they're black republicans. if you got money and the republicans are doing shyt to benefit you why wouldn't you ride with them?

those black republicans are republicans for the same reason the lower and middle income blacks are democrats.

lets also be honest that black democrats are mostly just taken for granted by the democratic party and otherwise ignored. they're glad to have your black vote but other than that you're irrelevant to them unless somebody is trying to disenfranchise you from voting for them.

lastly whats with black people acting like there's some type of bro code that says if you're black you gotta support Obama? when did black people develop this since of unity that's apparently lacking everywhere else damn near? same people acting like you own Obama a vote don't give a fukk about supporting black businesses and such.

What people need to realize is none of these political parties care for you and you'd get more from them if you actually made them compete for their vote. However, for some odd reason, blacks get the impression that the democrats are down with blackness.

the republicans may be openly racist, but is that really better than the subtle racism of the democratic party? The democrats openly support planned parenthood, and yet few know that the founder of planned parenthood created it as a way to kill black babies. Look up margaret sanger and the negro project. Look at the effect welfare policies have had on the black family. You don't think rewarding unmarried mothers helps break up the family?

Condi and Colin don't count since they are 'c00ns', but Barack, who always conveniently avoids speaking on black specific issues and avoids releasing official statements on black celebrities that die like Michael Jackson, but is quick to release one for white celebs. You mean the same guy that can sign the Dream Act to benefit folks who are not even legal citiznes of this nation? Bush donated more to African than Obama and Obama is over there killing Somalians with the drone strikes, but he's the 'real black man president.'

If you think just because some white men in a suit may puff a little weed, raise the roof when you come around, and pump a little Kanye or Jay Z can't be racist, then you are sorely mistaken. A democrat black puppet is the exact same as a republican black puppet. I didn't see the black community prospering significantly after Obama got in office. In fact, it looks much the same, if not worse off.

Democrats are just as much about white superiority as are the republicans. Who were serious black candidates for Democratic presidency before Barack? But as soon as the American ship is sinking, they hand the baton off to a negro, and now it's all gravy?

Your analogy doesnt work in this context. You would have to willingly choose the poisonous snake over the pitbull.
