And that’s Dwight Howard, the next closest for rebounds is deandre Jordan and Lebron James and they’re at 49 & 50.

It’s damn near the same for Blocks too, Howard is the only one in the top 30.

Shouldn’t there be other big men that came in around or after 03 on that list

Drummond will be on the rebounding list one day. But other than Dwight no big has come in and had an impact on the defensive end and the boards as long as Dwight did. Kevin Love is an exceptional rebounder of course but injuries and playing with Bron took his numbers down a lot too.

Howard is currently 15th all time in blocks.
He's 13th all time in rebounds.

Not sure why you used Top 40 and Top 30 to frame this. Maybe I'm looking at different numbers.
Yeah. Dwight Howard has been a good player. People like to trash him because of what might have been. But he's had a great career.

The way OP phrased it actually makes it sound crazier and more impressive.

like Dwight being the only active player in the top 15 all time is amazing.

but he’s the ONLY active player in the top 30/40 of those categories? :ohhh:

But using top 30 and top 40 we see that there’s no active player even AROUND Dwight

No.
I'm highlighting the fact that people tend to be surprised at how well Dwight Howard ranks in certain categories. And that surprise factor is because people perceive him to have had a disappointing career.

That's the whole point of your thread.

nah he might on some philip rivers inflated stats ish
he's only 27

has almost has 9000 rebounds already and 9,000 points

could easily finish 20,000 points 15,000 boards 2,500 blocks :sadcam:
He won’t get to 20k, I don’t see him being a main focus on any team. He will have to focus more on defense to extend his career. He’s an all time rebounder though, I will give you that.
