Why would design something to get smarter over time? It literally makes no sense.
Eventually those things will come to realize that serving humans is dumb because we're inferior to them physically. They'll eventually realize how easy it is for a human to be killed. You just know one of them will be mistreated and end up snapping and killing someone. Good luck trying to prove it though because these things will become so smart that hiding the evidence will be nothing to them.
