A person whose struggling can fix themselves in the middle of North Dakota if they truly understand what values they have and what location gives them the best buck for their skill.
Example: an aerospace black engineer is not getting better opportunities in Atlanta compared to Texas.
Also America belongs to African Americans. I find it weird that some AAs have this mindset that only two places in America is the only locations they can build “wealth”.
I’m pretty sure North Dakota has much better oil related jobs than Atlanta.
I’m pretty sure Texas has better engineering opportunities.
My point was blacks should head to cities where their skills will give them the best bang for their skills.
Once the bag is secured then wealth comes next.
You really want 13 million black people crowding up Atlanta
I’ve been preaching that in here for the past couple of years, Patty ... yet nearly everybody on here still trying to get to a major metro and shame others who say they’re moving and are gainfully employed in smaller cities/towns
I’m telling you this site is like 50 percent agents and/or bots or teenagers ...
Tearing down the projects was about destabilizing black neighborhoods
Think about all the new gang beefs and the ones we have today
Gangs that had never been around each other are now forced to interact
Eventually, the residents pack up and abandon the neighborhood
That's what we see today
Preach
And we’ve talked about black burbs on here a lot ... it’s really a matter I’d like to see a lot more research on... because there are gradations of black burbs ... let’s be clear ...
But the ones we're talked about have telltale characteristics: Extremely small lot sizes, somewhat high density (houses nearly piled on top of each other), very little variation in architectural styling and drab— built with cheap materials, multiple people living in one house, several cars per house and insufficient parking, narrow streets, displaced residents from the city, working class, many homes show a lot of wear and weathering and dirty siding, younger home occupants and renters (as the first wave of older homeOWNERS have fled) and a high rate of property crimes... also there could be a decent number of Hispanics living there, with huge work vans ... an absence of HOA or a lax HOA... very little greenspace for a small park park or either the HOA funded amenities have fallen or starting to fall into disrepair .
Additionally, appreciation usually always severely lags the the rest of the city’s suburbs that have much a lower concentration of predominantly black and brown burbs . So therefore, the resale pool is really restricted .
You know a “lower” tier black burb when you enter , even if at first glance it seems straight . If your GPS takes you outside the city limits to 1245 Wakanda Ln., you already know
