African ancestry is african ancestry. The main issue is people who deny that they have it.
If you want to identify with an area like Dominican Republic then feel free to do so but you still have African ancestry regardless.

nobody is denying it, i said it before and was validated by two posters , most Dominicans and dark skinned people of other countries will admit they are of African descent BUT clearly like to distinguish themselves from blacks (African Americans) and THAT is what seems to have yall in a uproar someone post up a youtube documentary with ignorant people in and now that represents a whole group of people
