they got $500 million not $250 million in advertising between 2 TV companies :damn:

$500 million in advertising alone :whew:

edit: how can a league invest in gambling sites but someone like Pete Rose get in trouble for gambling :dahell:

edit#2: on more thought, how is this not a federal crime or some shyt of leagues investing in gambling sites ? isnt that conflict of interest :dahell:

Remember, it's only not gambling when they can take way more than a regular sportsbook can take off the top, plus leagues are financially involved in it! Remember, if the league isn't financially involved and you bet ILLEGALLY, it's a slippery slope to match fixing, because millionaires could definitely use the extra money.

:what: its nothing like that , at all.. WOAT comparison
it is though. They're in bed with companies they'd rather not have their players near. Now fantasy sports is a little different than outright placing wagers on teams the way Pete Rose went about it, but again, there's a huge difference between us regular joes placing bets and wagers and players who can help control those outcomes

bruh you are comparing ALCOHOL, something that does not EFFECT the game and people get DUIS AFTER the game or during OFF SEASON to a league INVESTING into a GAMBLING SITE that matters about scores and outcome of players and games. Theres literally no comparison here.

Not only that - what league is invested in beer company ? As far as I know beer companies pay the leagues/channels to advertise. Draft Kings and Fan Duel are actually being invested/funded by leagues. How can you compare that to what people get caught up doing in the off season :snoop:

They're interchangeable to me now, zero brand differentiation.

And like someone else said, I was actually interested in trying it until this recent surge of marketing. Seems like a timeshare or those infomercials that come on at 2am :camby:

fukk this bullshyt fad
