Nah, just get your weight up and head back. Better yet, get in on the fun and start your own festival.
Supply and demand. Decrease your demand, increase their supply and decrease their prices. We have leverage over these corporations, just gotta learn the power of a dollar.

If you ain’t go no money
Take your broke ass home:manny:
This goes from sporting events to festivals
They’ve been taxing for years and shyt ain’t going to change
This ain’t the 70s, 80s, 90s
Where you could pull up with a cooler and parking lot pimp
Corporations run this shyt and they run the world
Ooorrrr…everybody speak with their wallets FOR ONE EVENT, not buy shyt, and watch how the prices immediately change? It ain’t about having money or not. The solution is extremely simple

ATL to MEM
6 rolls for 100 is not terrible. I’m assuming that’s meant for a group of people and they have individual prices on a smaller menu.

dope shyt!!

You make good money off beatport?
I make good royalties every month cause my music isn't just on Beatport, it's on Juno Download, Clone, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify, Tidal, and that's from the digital distribution service I work with has helped get my music in stores in the UK and EU as well.

How are people dapping this shyt :dead:
Maybe I should have phrased what I said differently.

I know as a Black Man who loves electronic dance music and house and techno I just get disappointed going to some of these mainstream festivals and not seeing too many black people there. I can enjoy myself to the sights and the sounds...but I hate being one of the few Black people at these events. Cause these white folks be acting like we don't know this music or anything about these artists. Meanwhile...Black people created all the genres that make up EDM and this is the thanks we get?

Next to no Black DJs being booked.
Borderline racist dress code door policies
Extremely high cover prices
Bougie VIP nonsense.

I hate the classist bougie nonsense of mainstream dance music...which is why I like going to the lesser hyped festivals in Chicago and New York and Jersey.

Like I used to go to house music events in Jersey in the early 90s with my family at parks and there would be NO white people there.
:mjlol:
So for it to turn to this?
Yea..end rant.

those are obviously multi-meal prices. who tf eats 6 rolls of sushi or a platter of fruit by themselves?
You obviously haven't attended one of these festivals in years. Yes they charge outrageous prices and it's not covered by the cost u pay for your ticket. Food vendors gotta cover expenses too, Coachella is expensive just to get a permit to be a food vendor

$96 for a pizza, but that price going up if people buy it, which they will, cause they ain't gotta choice.

or we dont listen to EDC :patrice:
This is one of the biggest myths out there.

Black People LOVE EDM.
Black People created House, Techno, Minimal, Garage, Breakbeat, Electro, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Juke, Jit, Baltimore/Jersey/Philly Club, Trap...pretty much all the sub genres that made EDM were created by Black People.

It's just black people are not the face of EDM, white people are seen the face of EDM.

When ppl think of EDM, they're usually thinking of White Men from Europe and not Black People from Chicago or Detroit or NYC or Baltimore or London.

I been said if these events booked more black DJs and producers, more black people would show out to these events in large numbers.
