MGTOW is basically not letting America, a matriarchal society, Define what your worth, role, and responsibility is as a man.

For example:
Man approaches woman, Sparks interest, sets up date, makes her his girlfriend, continues to pay for dates, marries woman, impregnates woman, and takes care of her and her kids until he dies.

You may not be fully mgtow, but if you believe that there's anything wrong with any of what I listed, you are at least partly Mgtow.

There are a lot of men who Define their worth by their ability to do at least one of these things. Mgtow is about finding worth in yourself as opposed to finding your worth in what you can do for a woman, which is how much of America defines manhood.

Incels and the alt-right have pretty much invaded the movement though, and have altered what it means to be mgtow altogether

Facts. The foundation of the movement is much different than what it has become.

I'm MGTOW because I don't succumb to the pressure that others put on me to find a wife/gf/sex partner. I do me and I do pursue women, but I pursue the women I want, not the women I can get. If those two groups overlap one day, then cool, if they never do, then so be it.

I have nothing against women in general. Both women and men have their own flaws, and their redeeming qualities as well. That's why I can't really align with what the movement has become (that and it turning into racist alt-right group).

Ultimately, regardless of your criticisms of men that build themselves up to pull women, they shouldn't look at themselves as losers because it's up to them to define their manhood and self worth. Because it's hard to find people that feel the same way. Most people try to pressure you into finding a woman, try to assign value to you or be highly critical of you if you don't have women. I've lost "friends" based on my lack of success with women. Our interactions got so toxic that I couldn't roll with dude anymore, and this has happened several times. And I've been with 24-25 women in my life, I can't imagine how bad it would be for a dude that never got bunz.

I don't understand why society puts so much pressure on men to be successful with women. The dudes that whine and complain, I get it. They need to level up or STFU. But if a guy that is quietly minding his own business, has a successful career, stays in shape, decent personality, and is just well balanced in general, why do we need to put extras on it and be like "he ain't s**t if he's getting no pu**y". It's brehs that will literally be mad at you if you don't pursue the women they want you to pursue. It's ridiculous and tiring. Some cats just want to live their life, and if they are positively contributing to society, then that's all that matters.

I don't think a movement is necessary, but wouldn't mind connecting with some like minded cats that feel the same way.

Why do they just sit around and complain about women on reddit or youtube. Do they not know the things that they could accomplish if they came together and dedicated themselves to something. When a group of men work together to some common goal they usually achieve something(no offense to the ladies but history proves this). A great example of this is Sergey Brin and Larry page and many entrepeneurs that come together to create something revolutionary. They could even start a club about quantum computers and just talk about it. Let's not forget about Plato's academy back in the day (it consisted of men coming together to discuss mathematics etc.) I don't get some people man . Some of these MGTOW and incel brehs are actually smart a few of them go to decent schools such as Berkley or Virginia Tech. Why don't they just come together and dedicate their time to something instead of wasting away their time on the internet .

The dudes who claim MGTOW but do nothing but sit around on the net and complain are the extremists and should be ignored, there are actually sensible dudes within that community that are banding together and creating shyt. As for Incels yeah they are a lost cause.
