What about all that artsy fartsy, avant- garde shyt artists like to spew about having control of their art, being authentic and it being about the art more than the $$?

Half these nikkas don’t care about their art. We can tell by the shyt they put out there for consumption. And us liking it is more an indictment on us than them
There are your ideals and then what actually happens. We all fall short of what we ideally would like.

To shoot them a minimal amount of bail, I'll add this. It's possible that they can care about their art and still sign that initial bad deal thinking when they get on the they will renegotiate or buy their rights back. Or once they set their family up they'll want to go independent maybe but they get caught in the label debt cycle. I would imagine it's tough to go back to your neighborhood knowing you declined a deal when that might be the only offer you ever get. So they get hooked as small fish.
