and yes time is flying, I remember the debate between Biden and Trump like it was last month

Still never got fully back on track career wise from the pandemic. Literally was starting a new field tech job working directly in hospitals when the pandemic was announced. Had already resigned from my previous technician roll as it was being eliminated. Could have transitioned into a a different position at the previous company but the new role I had was much more money. So I got hit by the very first wave of pandemic woes. Took a few years before i got another position. Now in a lower tier remote role that Im tired of and preparing to quit. I’m over the state of job hunting that is today so at this point I’m just about to bet it all on myself.
Since June 2015 when Trump announced his candidacy, it hasn't been the same really. We had nearly a decade of non-stop fukkery. Hell, I would even argue that either Trayvon's murder or Obama's election in 2008 as the beginning of the modern era we're in now

Another thing. The last 4 years is exposing whos real and whos fake, whos the weak, whos the strong, whos the stand up folks, the cowards, the talkers, the doers, basically whos who and from what i see, a lot of people are not who they claim and BELIEVE they are. Even now, folks STILL refuse to learn and OWN UP to their bullshyt. Then wanna tell people like me whos been true blue for the most part about whats really going on. If you cant be honest about yourself whether its positive or negative then dont worry about anything else. People who cant even face themselves trying to lead the way. 
thats why that diddy and drake exposures amongst all the shyt getting out NEEDED to happen. A lot of people need to be face the truth about themselves. Not enough people are humbled enough yet so guaranteed we are be right back in another quarantine/lockdown where folks gonna have to face themselves AGAIN. Theres gonna be more exposures and unpleasant truths thats gonna really wake folks up.

It was getting weird early 2020 janHonestly, it’s post-pandemic and pre-pandemic to me. 2020 just felt like the start of a new era.
It’s funny because the other night I was reading the Kobe death thread in The Coliseum from the beginning and people were talking about how 2020 was the worst year ever and I’m looking likebecause at that point the pandemic hadn’t even hit yet.

Yeah it was wild. Massive protest around the country we hadn't seen since the 60s, a pandemic that really shut the world down, a insurrection at the capital, and the former President who encouraged that insurrection can possibly win the election. It's been a wild time.

The world has always experienced major catastrophes and bloody wars where hundreds of millions of lives were lost but somehow people from the comfort of their home browsing their cell phones are living in wild times
If anything, what gives some this feeling is that today information reaches us faster, giving us the perception that a lot is happening at the same time when in fact it has always been like this
