LG Nexus 2015
The LG Nexus 5 2015 edition will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and pack a 5.2-inch screen and protruding camera, renders obtained by uSwitch reveal.

Sourced on our behalf by @OnLeaks, AKA Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowwhereelse.fr, the renders are based on detailed factory schematics provided to accessory-makers. They’re then used as the blueprint to ensure third-party accessories are compatible with as-yet-unreleased handsets.

The renders confirm that LG, which experimented with including buttons on the back of its G3 and G4, will take this approach a stage further for the Nexus 5 with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that sits square beneath the protruding camera.

Around the front, it looks like they’ll be dual-stereo speakers for a nice, full sound.

The images also add heft to claims that the screen will come in 5.2-inches, up from 4.95-inches last time around, and effectively rubber-stamp reports that the phone will be 146.9mm high, 72.9mm wide and is 8mm thick. However, if you include the protruding camera in the latter measure, it’s 9.8mm at its thickest point.

And rounding off the ‘reveals’, the shape of the USB aperture suggests the phone will feature a USB Type-C port.

Huawei Nexus
According to the new leak, both the LG and Huawei Nexus phones will feature the same fingerprint scanner, but that appears to be the only similarity.

The reports claim that Huawei has been testing a 5.5-inch and a 5.7-inch version of the phone, but it is unknown which size the company decided on. As for the charging port, it resembles the size and shape of a USB Type-C port, but beyond that not much is known about the rumored smartphone.

if they can just give it a better battery and a better camera, I'd cop day one

Those were literally the only two things I wanted to change when I had my N5. Was great otherwise. I'm willing to pay for a spectacular camera and battery life.
