I went to where my mom lived in Trinidad... Closest i ever got to those roots was meeting the bunny rabbits my cousins were gonna cook and eat the next summer, lol. I'll just connect through the home cooked meals.

This unlocked a memory for me. My cousins had regular chickens, a rooster and three hens. They had Mexican neighbors with chickens too, but they were those black skinny fighting roosters. I remember I was there spending the night once and we woke up to a racket, my cousins rooster jumped the fence to fight those fighting rosters and got fukked up. The Mexicans throw his ass over the fence all bloodied up they jumped that fool
