I will say though. If you attend a church, you should donate whatever you can. You partook in the services rendered by showing up and taking up a seat. And those churches have mortgages.

If they phrased things like I just did, folks won’t have a problem paying anything.

Honestly I think people don’t realize how much church can be so beneficial to the community
I should be able to go to a church any day of the week, get a meal, temporary shelter, get a job, education, etc.

But the main issue is trust which I would argue is one of the most pressing issues in the community, (love of one self being the top issue)

If we are going to be truthful the church is being used by the banks/government as another tool of slavery through the money. It keeps people working in the system for their purpose.

That's your interpretation. This is between God and that person. You can't tell a person how they should apply scriptures in their daily lives. It's not uncommon for Christians to set aside their offering to the church first as a sort of sacrifice and offering to God.

everyone cannot afford to tithe. but it is important to give to the house of God, to keep the doors open, bills paid, meet the needs of NEEDY FOLKS.

look at what this "minister" said. "God is obligated at that point (tithing) to supply all of my need". that is false teaching.

god provides for all of us regardless if we can AFFORD to tithe or not. everybody cannot afford to tithe out of their income due to bills. they may want to tithe, but can simply afford to give a few dollars. its an issue of the heart. give what you can and be consistent at that.

That would be true if their goal was just to keep the lights on. But they want private jets, expensive clothes, and jewelry and this is how they get it.
