Ya know given what she(Mauri) has said about her life story. She appears to be the prototypical female CO that we always hear about fukkin the inmates, getting trains ran on them, and slipping in contraband for certain inmates. She's total prototype: overweight, unattractive, and has low self esteem. So some inmates telling her she's beautiful all the time could easily manipulate her which is why she probably only did it for 3 yrs...

Yeah Don is only acting like that because he knows he can get out at any time literally. The surprising character for me is Nate. He seemed like a dude completely out of his element on the first episode but he has adjusted the best. He's pretty much cool with everyone and has everyone's respect from everyone. Calvin looks moist and looks like a fish out of water, I didn't think too tall was gonna give him back the tablet.

I think Jon surprised me more than anyone. He looked straight-laced, but when it came to it he wasn't having none of the jail finessing.

Don is the most entertaining character on the show.

I think they really have some respect for Nate tho. If he didn't have an ounce of respect, they would've jumped on him anyway. Lydell set him up tho, he approach him on the sly, and Lydell blew it up to make sure he got the other black buls on his side. I'm confused about Tall tho? Is he the leader or a follower? He should've told his goons to chill on Nate from the jump. He already had the convo with him and seemed to be in compliant.
