Yes they do look nice...I plan on hitting up the four seasons Maldives resort soon myself...and surprisingly if you book far enough in advance it's not as expensive as expected...

thats where i went on my honeymoon last year, different resort. It's so beautiful, it makes you want to cry but to get there is a bytch. You have to take a seaplane from the airport to your destination and that alone is worth it for the views. The water there is so clear, lagoons and reefs everywhere, deserted islands, sand banks, it was just so beautiful. i recommend staying at the beach front room for a few days and then the water rooms for a few days to get a nice mix.

I would also visit Sri Lanka from the Male airport, like a 3 hour flight and beautiful country.
