There was even a place on doordash that had tips as menu options. Like nikka why would I tip the restaurant on a damn delivery order

True. Too many places now have tipping options on kiosks when you are just picking up food now. I agree with @Fiji Water , it's only getting worse as people eat out more. Even crazier they still aren't paying servers in restaurants and still relying on customers to pay them.

OP you're not expected to tip on takeout. The businesses buy software and it is standard in the package. Its not worth the extra time and effort to customize; hence they put the skip/no tip button for the scenarios that don't require tipping.
