every Samoan in current WWE not Roman is pretty much playing a black character.
Prove me wrong.

Jacob has gold teeth, dreads, barks on anyone who says anything and says yadadamean with the consonant roll and everything. As a black man from the bay area... Jacob on TV right now is literally every nikka from Oakland, Stockton, EPA, Menlo, Hayward and SF in 2008.
The Usos showed up on TV with cornrows talmbout 'we in yo colleges'. Now Jey out here dressed like Soulja Boy talmbout 'yeet'.
Samoans in WWE are just black folk everywhere else. But black people don't get to be black people on WWE TV. We have to be super-athletic, love-to-have-fun, happy dancing people for fear of being called a stereotype. Meanwhile, Samoans just get to BE.
Samoans in WWE are just black characters, played by non-black people. And I'd be more annoyed with it if every Samoan I've ever known wasn't... exactly that in real life too.
They just don't get shat on for being true to themselves the way we will.
Here. Let me dress it up so people stop giving me looks: WWE Samoans are culturally closer to black people, but they don't have to code-switch to survive the company like we do. If Jacob Fatu had been Jacob Brown, they'd have turned him into a Cryme Tyme caricature. But since he's not, he gets to be his true self.
