Polynesians rarely bang red, tbh.
this is a random factoid I am VERY pleased about. It kept me from needing to run fades with dudes I wanted zero issue with.

also: Roman definitely says it. He slipped up and nearly said it during a promo not too long ago.

My cousin is married to a Samoan and he's got a big family. They're all bloods. They're also trump supporters. :francis:

Not after seeing all these Drill rappers supporting Trump
I hate to say this but the trend I’m noticing is we (black people) have a huge distrust when it comes to authority and information from people in power, and because of that we lean heavily toward conspiracies. Ask the average nikka about “gay agendas” or trans people in sports, their thoughts on vaccinations etc. and watch them start spitting right wing Republican rhetoric immediately

But I say all that to say I think that conspiracy babble and Trump playing into those talking points are the reasons we’re starting to see so many nikkas that proudly stand on that side

the problem is what I am seeing from all facets of the Far Right overlapping with our culture:
they fukking LOVE to perform what we actually lived.
love to wear persecution they haven't felt, oppression they never had to overcome and scream about being targets while taping the bullseye to themselves.

It makes sense for black folk to not trust the government and assume they are up to bullshyt. That's literally been the entire history of black people in America since Day 1 Minute 1. We've lived through slavery, Jim Crow, Redlining, Tuskegee, Tulsa, Flint, and all manner of other bullshyt. A black person being wary of what they are told makes sense due to past tendency.

The issue is, the Far Right tends to performatively act like they have some justification of being mistrusting, because it lets them pretend like THEY AREN'T THE REASONS WE DON'T TRUST shyt IN THE FIRST PLACE. It lets them do what they love to do: wear our existences as a costume. Try on our legitimate oppression for some sympathy attention then take it off when it makes them happy.

The entirety of that Far Right mentality is just like most other American pop cultural things: copying what we do, without the reasoning, the context, the tact or the grace. Just bland, seasonless conspiracy about shyt they could just as easy check out, like I dunno, whether the earth is a fukking sphere or not.

But the questioning aspect tends to stick too closely to nikkas without the willingness or critical thinking to understand that questioning science doesn't make you a radical thinker, disbelieving everything doesn't make you a skeptic and regurgitating what you heard someone in a whole different situation than you say with they chest does not somehow make you correct for repeating it.

so what happens? more people itching to throw themselves at the feet of a machine that only sees them as additional stepping stones to raise itself up above the masses and maintain its power system even further. It's insidious, but dudes would rather be out here color-banging political parties than use their heads.

Makes sense. They spent decades killing every positive voice that rose up for us, and amplifying every bit of negativity until we are self-maintaining their power structure in places they can't access to install it.

shyt, all you have to do is look over at tlr and that covers the bold to a T
I mean, we got one poster alone that allegedly been talking about trans people (not in a positive light) for a decade straight and it's only till recently he start getting called out on his obsession.
