Its not that mitch is a perimeter defender but he plays his man. He was able to disrupt embiid in the philly series last year from the paint, 3pt line whereever he was at.

I personally feel like mitch should start. Because turner abused hartenstien last year and kat not about to fair any better.

I personally feel like mitch should start. Because turner abused hartenstien last year and kat not about to fair any better.

Mitch is something different and I don’t think a lot of fans appreciate it cause he is a country boy and was always injured, so you got to go way back to put his accomplishments into context.

I am not trying to get hype but some of the stuff we saw Mitch do makes me think he might be the best defensive center in the league. Like Breh two years ago basically owned Jarret Allen/Mobley in the paint by himself when his front court mate was Randle who is a stretch 4 so he did a lot of that on his own. Last year he busted Embiid the then current MVP’s ass to the point Embiid did some dIrty shyt out of spite. Now in the boston series we had him switching and guarding the perimeter which had the Celtics so fukked up they started hack a shaqing him, which culminated with him rotating on/off Celtics to end up on Jaylen Brown who he ripped the ball from.

Mitch did a defensive trap on Jaylen Brown himself.

We got got stay healthy these playoffs but i remember when they got Mitch in the second round and we was all stunned he was blocking dudes doing three point shots. The potential has always been there.

Now look at him

IHart got abused by Turner, but it’s not the same situation he’s seen in the playoffs so far. KAT is maybe the 2nd best offensive center in the league, and when he sits down you got arguably the best defensive center on the league coming in to replace him. I dont think Turner has had to face this type of situation before.
