Fam, I said in that first game that they were trying to to prove a point, and demoralize us by draining threes when all they had to do was reduce it to a half court game, eat clock(strong pause) and win the game. You'd think they'd have done their homework on an inferior Knicks team from last year and know they come back from deficits via the fast break. Long, unnecessary threes feeds the fast break, especially with Hart's crazy ass, lol. They wanted to break the Knicks' will but instead of fed comebacks.
I don’t even blame the players it feels 100% like the type of thing Mazzulla would tell them to do. Just weird psych games for no damn reason.

Turner has to guard KAT too btw

Well look at the way porzingis lit him up in the season opener when the celtics set the 3pt record. I just prefer mitch guarding him. We won't have to worry about variables and IF Mitch can hold it down. We know for a fact

The perceived depth of that Pacers team is overrated. Obi a decent 8th man but Sheppard, Walker and Thomas Bryant aren't putting fear in anybody
"Perceived depth" ?

The guys you listed aren't the role players who do damage for them outside of their "stars" and you know this.

I gave props to their top 7. McConnell and Mathurin are their 6th and 7th guys
lowkey the Knicks are bigger than the Pacers at every position but PG.

The Cavs are built small between Garland and Mitchell. They beat the Bucks who flipside also have an interesting front court. Both teams were shallow and neither was known for playing defense.

So unless the pacers make every game a shoot out the Knicks have a chance. It‘s really gonna be based on if the Knicks can slow the game up or if the pacers can build a quick enough lead through transition that the Knicks are forced to play faster.

History has shown that the playoffs end up going slower, but we got to see.
