I've been feeling this way since I created our last season thread.

We need KnickstapeCity to make some big dikk jokes to give the team back it’s big dikk energy

These pacer fakkits want the team and fans to get emotional. They want to set the pace. Take a step back and peep game and let’s see if these guys can adapt. Thibs HAS to play the double big lineup more this series. We dominated in the minutes they were out there together & it's been the most effective lineup since we started playing in the playoffs. What I didn't like was the non adjustment to when they kept hunting KAT in that horrible drop coverage. We gave up way too many open looks because of that & lackadaisical defense

There isn't shyt the Knicks need to do but not play with their food.
This wasn't an incremental loss, or a breakdown, or refusal to change the game plan.
The team was up 9 with 52 seconds left. The game was in hand.
Ans they kept trying to score.
They kept trying to go back and forth.
SVG said something along the lines of at this point in the game, this is only about clock management and protecting the ball.
They did the complete opposite, trying to get shots up.
It was the most mind boggling, conspiracy theory feeding action I've ever seen in a game.
I cannot get past seeing Brunson fly out of the back court, to slow it down into the front court like he should have, only to immediately try to score with like 15 seconds left on the shot clock FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON.
You're up 9 and instead of playing keep away or holding the ball to milk the clock and slow the pace down, you're literally scurrying up court looking for the first shot you can take.
You have complete control of the game. The Pacers are doing what they should do. Swarm, desperate to try to find a basket. You kill that desperation by slowing it down. Put a pillow over their face while they flail. Make them foul. Make them call timeouts. Make them run set plays, not get out on transition off misses and I'll advised passes. Instead, they decided to match the swarm with their own. It was the most ridiculous, illogical display of late game strategy I've ever seen. This game doesn't go to OT, or come down to a last second shot without completely brainless activity from seconds 52 to 15.
The Knicks deserved to lose for simply displaying a complete lack of common sense that undid 47 minutes of great ball. Got solid play across the board. And they thought it made sense to go shot for shot instead of running the clock, like amateurs trying to win a pissing contest.
You come back Friday and you don't fukking get cute. Put your foot on their throat and don't ever let that fakkit Haliburton think he can do any of that bullshyt in the Garden again.

Yesterday sucked, but I'm not jumping off the bridge yet. They made a bunch of circus shots. Hit the free throws, control the pace, and cut down on the errors.
Thibs needs to play the double big more, and should have kept Brunson out a few more minutes. You're on a 10 point run with cam in. It wouldn't have killed anybody to give him a few more minutes. Bring him back when the run stops.
Whatever OG did before that game, he better not do it again. If we get the first Suni game OG, we win big and sleep better
