Literally all these cities would have to do is force the stores into smaller footprints, shave off the tax benefits and repurpose them so these stores dont completely steal so brazenly, and force the stores to share space with denser housing and the mixed use developments.I'm at an age where I realise people get what they deserve.
People stop buying from mom and pop stores and go to the big box store. Then everybody buys shyt online from a few retailers them complain.
It's like when I'm on YouTube and people complain why a song isn't on Spotify. When all they need to do is purchase a song for themselves. Then complain that artists don't get paid
Theres so many ways to lessen the burden these places cause, without banning them. I’m not saying they have to disappear but to ignore the impact they have had is naive.
