That's the problem. They are fine as a gimmick but they don't do shyt to generate heat, just having a gimmick is never enough. That kinda shyt works in Florida because the crowd learns to like "their" wrestlers, but you need to go the extra mile like Enzo or be really fukking good in the ring to really connect with people.

I like them and they're good on the mic. I thought they held there own on the mic tonight. Just heel them up a bit more and they should be ok.
It was a gimmick that needed/needs work and is just too cartoony and corny. Whoever thought about bringing them up is a fukking idiot. The effort would be better spent on refining the Wyatt family aesthetic (since it has so much damn potential)
A lot of the NXT shyt just doesn't work on the main roster, which is why I can't see Bayley being a huge thing outside of NXT because it comes off weak and forced. These gimmicks work as an "attraction" because NXT is in the same place 98% of the time and on the road at these house shows, people wouldn't take it seriously.

I actually like Vaudevillains but I don't see anyone with a character gimmick making it to the top in 2016 wwe... maybe if you're a supernatural fukk like the Wyatts or Undertaker you can get away with being some kind of character but otherwise people expect the top tier guys in WWE to be Professionals at Wrestling not some other shyt like a ninja, a clown, a firefighter, or any other occupation.
Either way there's plenty of room for them because they are a tag team, and you actually got the beginnings of a thriving tag division going right now in WWE- so you need some established tag teams that can take the L's from time to time and let your top teams shine.

Funny thing, had they been brought up as faces like they were in NXT, I'd agree with this, but as heels, they have a to more legs and freedom. Their gimmick is almost perfectly tailored to be heels. It also helps that they both are pretty good on the mic, which I was shocked by on Smackdown, particularly Aiden English. They both come off sort of like a more exaggerated version of Sandow's original gimmick.
As far as the Ascension comparisons, VV are already ahead of them by simply being more interesting, along with being goodie the ring. Ascension had a distinct gimmick in NXT, but were brought up to the main roster as a fake Road Warriors/Demolition, with a cool theme and nothing else.

Liked him at first in NXT...but they did get stale....hope they get a few decent checks before being shown the door
