You never said any of that in the op though, so how can you say that someone is finally making sense as if that was your original tone of the post? You sounded bitter and people responded accordingly. As for her being pregnant do you know for sure that she is or are you speculating without even having talked to her about it? She may have been waiting to tell you. Is she showing?

I agree that its important to know who your child will be living with, so Im not saying that isn't important at all.

Its has nothing to do with not being able to hide it. Its kind of like a "jinx" thing to announce too soon for some women. I am surprised more of you havent heard of that. Just search "announcing pregnancy too soon" on google and you will see a lot of women do this (and there are also a lot who dont).
